When is Hog Happnin' open to the public?

Friday the gates will be open from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

Saturday gates open at 9 am and close after the truck & tractor pull (about 7 pm.)

Is there a gate charge?

Friday there is no gate fee. The public is welcome.

Saturday there is a $2 gate fee. But those holding an advance BBQ meal ticket enter free.

Where can I buy advance BBQ meal tickets?

From any Cleveland County Home Builder member, Children's Homes of Cleveland County or contact us here.

Why should I buy my meal tickets in advance?

Those holding advance tickets get free entry to the grounds on Saturday. Save the $2 gate fee.

What events are scheduled for Friday?

Our first Truck & Tractor pull presented by STTPA will be on the grandstands from 5 until 8 pm,

Taster's Choice will be held on the BBQ Midway from 6:30 - 9 pm or until the samples run out.

The Corn Hole Tournament begins on the BBQ Midway. Times TBA

What does it cost to see the Truck & Tractor Pull?

Firday or Saturday, single day tickets are $15. Buy a ticket for both days for $25.

What are the hours for the Truck & Tractor Pull?

Friday's pull begins at 5 pm and ends at about 8 pm.

Saturday's event begins at 3 pm and will end at approximately 7 pm.

What is Taster's Choice?

Selected competition BBQ teams will be cooking for the public. This is your chance to see what competition BBQ is like?

How does Taster's Choice work?

Red Cross volunteers will be selling tasting tickets at their tent on the BBQ Midway. You buy a packet of 5 tickets for $10. Present a ticket at any of the teams displaying the orange Taster's Choice flag to taste a sample of meat entry.

How do I vote for my favorite Taster's Choice team?

With each packet of 5 tasting tickets, you will get one voting ballot. After tasting all 5, return to the Red Cross tent and cast your vote.

How about BBQ on Saturday at Hog Happnin'?

BBQ meals will be available for dine-in or carry-out and we also have a BBQ drive-thru. Also, look for ribs and other foods at the grandstands during the Truck and Tractor Pull.

What other food will be available?

Hot Dogs, BBQ sandwiches, chips and other foods are available at Goforth Hall and at our concession trailers across the grounds. Ice cream will also be available near the Car Show and the grandstands.

Can I get ribs at Hog Happnin'?

Friday night, some teams may be serving ribs at Taster's Choice but they are not required to do so. They choose the meat.

Saturday afternoon and evening, ribs will be for sale at our stand near the entrance to the grandstands.

How about breakfast Saturday morning?

Kiwanis Club will have a pancake, coffee and sausage breakfast on the BBQ Midway.

Can I buy BBQ by the pound to take home?

Yes, beginning at 1 pm you may place your order at the tickets tent outside Goforth Hall. We will sell by the pound as long as supplies last.
